The Shadetree Mechanic is definitely the friendliest and most personal auto repair shop in Ludington. Owners Jim and Becky Matthews started their business in 1997 when they operated out of a garage next to their home. They now do repairs out of a larger shop on Virnetta Drive, complete with three bays and a customer waiting room. Becky handles the phones and all the paperwork...always with a smile! Once you become a customer of The Shadetree Mechanic, you'll feel right at home...and you'll appreciate the straighforward way they explain the problem with your vehicle. TYPE OF WORK
The Shadetree Mechanic will work on cars (including foreign makes) plus light and heavy duty trucks. Jim is an ASE and State Certified Master Mechanic, Manager is Derek Kowatch and Shadetree Mechanic has three other qualified mechanics on duty. Their parts specialist is also state certified, and they'll find any part that's needed to fix your vehicle. They will perform oil changes, tune ups--as well as repair brakes, starters, shocks, struts, air conditioning, and more. A phone call from Becky lets you know when the work is done, and you'll be amazed at how fast Jim and his crew get the job done.

HOURS & DIRECTIONS
The Shadetree Mechanic is located on Virnetta Drive, between N. Rath and N. Washington...just look for their sign on the north side of the road. They are open Monday-Friday from 8am-noon and 1-5pm.
